I've had tables at quite a few of the local comic book conventions, sometimes paying up to $75 for a table. It makes things tuff, but you can turn a profit if you really try. So anywho, I was thinki9ng about maybe getting a table at The Emerald City ComiCon
this year, maybe unload some of the treasures I've been accumulating since the last convention I did, which was nearly 5 years ago now (I believe that was the akward last year that Mathew was with us).
Now I'm not a TOTAL idiot; I realize that a convention as large as The Emerald City ComiCon
, being held in Seahawks Stadium and being TWO DAYS long is gonna cost a bit more than Steve Miner's little 1-day, 2-room "Seattle Center ComiCard" conventions which usually run me around $30 for a table.
for a single table?!?!? I don't even think I have $250 worth of stuff to sell! I can't justify spending that much money on a gamble like a comic book convention... I just can't!
Looks like I'll end up either doing a string of those iddy-biddy conventions, or saving my stuff for the day that Molly and I open our comic book store :)
