Diet Stuff

Breakfast: Leftover Pork Steak
Lunch: Cheese
Dinner: 2 Hot Dogs, Beef Neck

Gym: None, 28.8 miles total

Clean: 5 hours of YARD WORK

Yesterday I conquered the back yard! FIRST TIME I'VE MOWED IT THIS YEAR!!! Glad to report that our new little electric lawn mower is up to the task :) Also revamped our fire pit and recovered our old bench swing (which I had pretty much written off as scrap metal at the end of last summer) by removing the canopy and covering the seats with a blanket. We had forgotten just how comfy that swing was, regardless of how ugly it had become, and were so happy with how the yard turned out that we just had to have an impromptu cook-out. Coincidence provided Dan and the kids looking for something to do just at that moment, so we had a grand old time :)

Today, two big goals that will make me happy if I accomplish at least one of them; Storage Unit or Gym :)

Maybe you should get a pedometer. I bet youre walking a lot more than you know.

Yeah, but I feel like counting my normal every-day walking is a bit of a cheat - like counting all the times I lift a fork to my mouth as "Weight Lifting", or time spent watching TV being counted as "Low Impact Calorie Burn", ya know?

The distance i travel while at the gym is deliberate motion that I am dedicating above and beyond my regular daily activity towards improving myself :)

You better get to it then! I use presidentschallenge.com to show progress for homeschool records. According to them, you burned massive calories with all that yard work. Myfitnesspal.com also has a decent calorie calculator. But I get what youre saying, and kudos to you!
