Tonsil Party!

Molly is getting her tonsils taken out on Thursday, so tomorrow we will be spending the entire day at her favorite "Splash Park" in Bellevue getting wet :)

Since they only have one or two covered areas and all Washington State Parks are currently enforcing a burn ban, here's the list of what I think I need to pack for tomorrow:
  • Large Canopy
  • Two Blankets
  • Bathing Suits
  • Towels
  • Change Of Clothes
  • Big Bag Of Popcorn
  • Pork Rinds
  • Berries
  • Bananas
  • Steamed Hot Dogs
  • Condiments
  • Iced Tea
  • Fruit Juice
  • Otter Pops
  • Ice

I think that's all we need...

We're an *extremely" wooded State, and to decrease the probability of forest fires they do all sorts of tests to determine just how high the probability of fire is, So when we've gone too long with hot weather and no rain, they initiate a "Burn Ban" - no camp fires, open fires or bbq's in our State Parks till we get some rain :)

*nods*...okay, I've been in the desert too long...when sun umbrella was on your list, I automatically was thinking sunburn ban...and I've never heard of that, but it sounds reasonable here where it's 107* tomorrow...but fire ban I understand
