Gym - None, 30.5 miles total

Clean - 20/10 x2

This weekend was productive! Made a little bit more than a GALLON of my Super Veggie Soup/Sauce, helped a friend get moved in to their new house (which is beautiful btw), provided halfway house services for another friend, and planned a menu for something that may or may not happen...

See, next weekend we were *supposed* to cater an Art Workshop over in Friday Harbor, but less than ten people signed up for the thing (we usually do this for groups of 20 or more). My sister (the person who organizes these workshops through her Wild At Heart Studios business) has given us an "out", saying that she'd just feed everybody sandwiches from the local Friday Harbor Sandwich Shop if we don't want to come for what would end up being about $100 profit all said and done.

Thing is, I've eaten at that sandwich shop and I know I can make better sandwiches and/or side dishes than that. The place doesn't even bake their own bread or slice their own meat! They literally, right in front of you, take bread out of a bag, sliced meat out of a plastic container, big jar of mayo - it's like a sandwich you sould make at home, only for $12 instead of a few cents :/

So my next proposal for her (I'l cal her tonight with this idea) is that I could come over with all the stuff she needs for a Build-Your-Own Sandwich Bar, with side dishes and everything, do it for a fraction of the cost of ordering from the sandwich shop AND with a much higher quality. It won't be much money for us in the long run, but it'll give me pride AND a tine bit of cash to spend at PAX the following weekend :)

Your sandwich bar idea sounds like a winner. In addition to the food, people will have the fun experience of making their own sandwiches. AND watching others make theirs. Win-Win.

Exactly! The Sandwich Bar is always a huge hit :)

That sounds like the saddest sandwich shop in all the world. You should definitely go with the Sandwich Bar.
