Sample Character Sheet:

NAME: Ogbert Stonemender RACE: Dwarf CLASS: CLERIC

ATTACK: 1d8 SPECIAL: Heal any adjacent character 1d6 per Cleric Level, once per room

DEFENSE: 2d6 HIT POINTS: 8 per level

The player will get 8 hit-point tokens when they get this card, and another 8 once they level up (which can be accomplished through treasure and monster kills). Attacking and defending are a simple roll-off between Attack and Defense.

EXAMPLE: This character attacks a creature with a defense of 3d4. The DM rolls the 4-sided die 3 times and adds up the total (lets say it came to 5), then the player rolls their attack (1d8, let's say they roll a 7). The defense number is 5, the attack number is 7 - the Cleric has just dealt 2 damage to the monster!

EXAMPLE 2: Same match-up, only this time the monster defends with a 12. Defense is 12, attack is 7, NO DAMAGE.

The "Legendary items" that come up in the treasures will be able to make your attack and defense better (weapons and armor)
