Holiday Schedule
The Holidays are ALWAYS busy, sure, but it's gonna be EXTRA BUSY for me starting this weekend!
FRIDAY 11/22 - Work meeting, take the dog to the pet groomer, Glean, Take Molly to Girl Scouts, drive to Mount Vernon.
SATURDAY 11/23 - Doctor Who at 11:30 on BBC America, Get a tree for my parents, decorate said tree, put up Christmas lights at parents house, plan Thanksgiving Dinner
SUNDAY 11/24 - Starbucks Glean, prep our own house for Christmas Decorating
MONDAY 11/25 - Work
TUESDAY 11/26 - Work
WEDNESDAY 11/27 - Drive to Mount Vernon, start preparing for Thanksgiving
THURSDAY 11/28 - Cook Thanksgiving Dinner for all the family
FRIDAY 11/29 - Black Friday, traditional day of complaining about shopping.
SATURDAY 11/30 - Pick up Indy (More on that later), come back to Home, get settled in
SUNDAY 12/01 - Starbucks Glean, Nutcracker Suite!
MONDAY 12/02 - Work
TUESDAY 12/03 - Work
WEDNESDAY 12/04 - Spend the night in Mount Vernon helping out
THURSDAY 12/05 - Rifftarx Live: Santa Claus Conquers The Martians
FRIDAY 12/06 - Work Meeting, keeping open calendar for in case we decide to go to Mont Vernon
SATURDAY 12/07 - I'm sure there's something we have to do - a tree lighting or some such thing, maybe a movie...
At this point it becomes a repeating pattern of Work, Night In Mount Vernon, Meeting and Sunday Glean till Christmas. Not sure where we go after that...
I've had to turn down invitations to many things that I really really really wanted to go do, lots of friendships, relationships and social network projects I'm letting kind of stagnate... but this is important stuff. More important than getting out Christmas cards, more important than Saturday Morning Cartoons, more important than comic books, more important than toys and conventions.
I'm busy with a *purpose*.
