Back in December, we stayed at the Best Western next door and got the Captain Kidd's breakfast buffet free with our room. It actually wasn't that bad. Of course, my expectations were pretty low. We felt okay after eating there each day, but toward the end, we skipped it for breakfast at the Carnation Cafe. There were some baked goods, bread for toast, eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, breakfast potatoes, and pancakes. They seemed to alternate between having sausage and ham. The coffee was pretty terrible, but the other stuff was at least edible, and sometimes it was decent. Note: This was all upstairs in the hotel-specific section, not the section open to the general public.
If I were choosing a place to go eat, this wouldn't be my first choice by a long shot, but it filled me up quickly in the mornings so we could go have fun.
