COOKING!!!

For the first time in my life, thanks to Chris and the Washington State Board of Health, I will be having chicken tonight that WILL NOT make me feel as though I have eaten a mixture of thumbtacks and plaster tomorrow morning. Meat thermometer calibrated to 32-degrees (glass of ice water), checking the temp of the bird in several different places, gonna make sure it's at a uniform 165 at the very least. And hopefully, if all goes accordng to plan, I won't have to make deals with the higher beings tomorrow morning, pleading with God for a bit of mercy as I strain my aching muscles and cry over my burning posterior. Of course, only me and my stack of comic books will know for sure if it actually worked.
