Last night we went to a BBQ at Le Maison De dotgirl & collisions, which of course only reminded me of how COOL their co-werkers are and how LAME my co-werkers are. C'mon, co-werkers on my Friends List! Let's snap to it and start having cool parties!

Actually, I take that back. It's not that you people are lame, it's that WE (khristle and me) are lame. P&C just happen to throw the type of party we crawl out of our hole for. No smoking, no drugs, very little booze... just great food, cute kids, and the occasional discussion about my bowels :)

I wonder if everyone will be willing to drive out to Monroe to enjoy such a party once we have a place? People used to drive out to Anacortes for my Dad's shin-digs, so it just might be a possibility.

The biggest eg-boost of the night for me was of course Brittany, who hung on me all night long trying to impress me with her weirdness and her geekiness. I LOVE IT! I feel safe in taking at least partial (if not full) credit for all her geeky and weird tendancies. Hearing her say things like "The Fantastic Four movie was cool, but they TOTALY messed up Doctor Doom" is like music to my ears :)

I officially "tested the waters" last night, seeing if she would be interested in helping out with a table at the next comic book convention. I think she's finally at the proper age to do it, and the unbridaled energy of her youth will far outperform the tired old antics of Me and dotgirl and/or the "I'm so pregnant I could burst" antics of khristle. I'll pay her an actual wage, plus a bonus at the end. I think this will be a great experience for her!

Ooooh...Britt would love that, both for getting to hang out with you and the chance to hone her bargaining skills. She probably doesn't get enough exposure to the art of the haggle--you can see it when she goes to ask us for stuff. ;)

Also! What's this about "very little booze"? :P

No fist-fights, no nudity, no hot cousin-on-cousin action... where I'm from, that equals VERY LITTLE BOOZE. Also, there was not a section of your yard dedicated to the refrigeration and storage of the 50 cases of Rheinlander and other alcoholic beverages. And no puke. Sop yeah, I'd have to say it was Very Little Booze :)
