That is soo funny. I was just thinking about that very thing, when I had an old Hauppauge Card in the back of the Gateway 2000 in 1997. I remember when the cable company was having test runs of text service. At the time, it cost nothing. The amount of content was rather limited, and IIRC it was not connected to the Internet---yet.
