DINNER!!!

So I went in to the Chef Chen Super Buffet with 64 points to go nuts with.

Decided up front to avoid the stuff in the "Deep-Fried-N-Smothered-In-Syrup" categories like General Tso chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork an the likes. Had a little bit of curry rice with chicken, a little bit of the Braised Pork, and a few of the pan-fried shrimp before heading to the MAIN course; THE SUSHI!!!

Mind you, the Sushi that Chef Chen makes is a bit on the small side. Like, if you paid Sushi Bar prices you'd think it was a rip-off. But because it's ALL YOU CAN EAT, who cares? Here's the list:

7 Tuna Sashimi(?) (At least I think it was Tuna, and I think that's what you call it when it's just a slab of tuna on a bit of rice)

6 California Roll

6 Salmon Roll

6 Spicy Tuna Roll

2 Shrimp Tempura Roll

2 Veggie Roll

No desert of any kind; I was kinda stuffed. That's the great thing about Sushi is that it leaves you SO FULL you can't think of cramming more down your throat! But the thing is, given the small portions I'm pretty sure I didn't even use up all my points. Based on the information I glommed from P&C, pieces of Sushi this size should average out to about 2 points for 3 pieces. If that's the case, then I only had 20 points worth of Sushi and maye another 20 points with all the other stuff i had, and I've still got 24 points i could use tonight if I wanted to!

Are they sure this is a DIET?

Well on the PLUS side it's All You Can Eat. On the minus side, it's only the 6 varieties of pieces that I listed. It's all very yummy, though, and you can also load up on other Asian-type stuff as well! It's near the Mill Creek Post Office on the Bothell-Everett Highway.
