Ya know who I like? People who try to prove how unique and non-conformist they are by dressing like every other unique, non-conformist they see. Baggy pants, Slip-Knot T-Shirt, studded belt, wallet chain, and spikey/odd colored hair. Oh, and facial piercings. There... now I'm a non-conformist, just like the rest of you!

i have met exactly *2* people in my lifetime that were true non-conformists. One is on my friends list (and has been known to wear Fairy Wings to formal events, as rumor would have it), the other abandoned his standardized non-conformist costume and switched to a loud hawaiian shirt, rainbow clown wig, and Elvis sunglasses.

Gawd Bless you Individuals!

why do you care so much about what other people look like? i think it's pretty insensitive to categorize everyone who looks like something you may have seen before to be completely unindividual. i can say i like the way i look and i enjoy taking the time out to make an outfit or cut my hair a specific way or put my make-up on the way i like it or wear certain jewelry. does that mean i want to fit in with everyone else just because i'm not going out of my way to look like i'm not trying to fit in? i'm confused. i guess i'm taking this a bit personally because i don't exactly look like your "normal" human. but there is nothing that is inhuman about me. i don't expect others to think i'm "evil" or better than them in some way. i can't say that i don't like attention, but that's not why i make myself up the way i do. my body is my temple. if i'm not happy with the way i look on the outside, then i won't be happy on the inside. it's different for everyone. i guess maybe i'm just being compassionate and empathetic.

Okay, now, everyone, repeat after me: "We're all individuals!"
