CPAP CRAP

I wish I were having a better time using my CPAP machine. I have to strap it to by face and let it blow air in my nose all night long, but unfortunatley I rarely go more than 4 hours with the thing on me before I end up ripping it off and getting some REAL sleep without it.

I just get way too restless and it's really uncomfortable. And the fact that the setting get all messed-up every time I rip it off my head. Not my fault - I'm 90% asleep when I do it!

So we got the doctor to prescribe a sleep aid to supposedly let me avoid waking-up in the middle of the night, therefore depriving me of the chance to rip the stupid thingee off my head and get a full night of sleep under my belt.

Unfortunately, I woke up about 5 times last night, each time I had the stupid CPAP mask ripped off my head and lying on the bed next to me in pieces. And so I spent most of the night re-attatching the device to my head and trying to get back to sleep - FOR 10 HOURS I DID THIS!!!

I'm beginning to think that's exactly what I need... I'll be calling them on Monday to see about that.

you really should. my dad and brother both use various versions of cpaps, so see what they can do to make it work for you.
