The Odd Thing about Classmates

In High School, I *never* considered myself to be the friend of ANYONE. I lived in my own little world of comic books, Star Trek and Monty Python. I have always thought that everybody else thought I was a part of some other clique; I wasn't. i wasn't a Stoner, I wasn't a Jock, I wasn't a Brain, I wasn't a Preppy. So I sat at my own little table in the lunch room, reading comics and listening to stand-up comedy. Occasionally, other folks would drift in and out of sitting at my table. But no one was ever a "Friend". Not really.

Facebook has allowed me to "Friend" a lot of old classmates and interact with them. I feel closer now to the folks I graduated with than I ever did when I was actually in school. That's... that's really weird to me.

I wonder what clique all my old classmates thought i was a part of... or was I just kind of a non-entity?
