The New (11th) Doctor

So yeah, I won't be the first to post about this I'm sure... but I had to say...

Matt Smith named as the next Doctor Who

I look at that picture and all i can think is "Previously, on Dawson's Tardis..."

BUT! I'm totaly willing to give him a try! He's got Geek Cred already, what with wearing a Batman T-Shirt in his publicity photo :)

And those eyes? MY GAWD THOSE EYES!!! He's got the intense stare of David Boreanaz!!!

Well, although Kaiti and I both agree with you that he's too young looking, she is the only one who said "He's too gay looking to be the Doctor".

So all that talk about an older Doctor was a red herring.

Personally I would have gone with an older Doctor this time.

I feel so out of the loop, I've never seen this show!

What the heck?

Is this Doctor Who: The Twilight Years? He looks like an emo vampire!

My first thought when I heard the news was, "Who the hell is Matt Smith?" My second thought was, "This guy is three years younger than me." Then I decided I would give him the benefit of the doubt, especially since David Tennant is a tough act to follow.

I totally love that you just compared our next doctor to David Boreanaz!! :D haha <3

Also - I approve of him very very much.. but then again - I am only 23, so he's still older than me! :D

He DOES look like he should still be in high school. And if his ability to speak during interviews is rather limited; it won't matter if he can deliver his lines convincingly on screen.

Wait, I thought it was gonna be a black dude! Did that change?
