Something for Nothing

Have had several responses to my request for D&D Minis based solely on the word "Beta" in my craigslist ad. Once they discover that it's only maybe 10 or 20 cards, all land and Merfolk, they get less gung-ho. And then when I tell them tht I don't have any of "The Power Nine", they suddenly are no longer interested.

DUDE.

I want your $10 worth of plastic that is readily available at any Barnes & Noble. You want INVESTMENT CARDS. You want to turn around and sell these on Ebay, then tell all your friends that you TOTALLY ripped-off this fat-dude in Bothell! He was such an idiot! He didn't know that he had a full set of Moxes and a Lotus and so on and so forth!

I'm not looking for that. I'm looking for an equal exchange of goods. I have excess Magic; you have excess D&D Minis. Let's work out a fair trade, shall we?

I guess that years of dealing almost exclusively with [livejournal.com profile] aquatwo has left me spoiled for other trades :(

If I read this right and those are beta basic land, I may be able to get you some cash for them.
I don't have any d&d minis but I do have a lot of spare heroscape figs if those could be used in any way.

Well that just kinda clinches it for me - i *HAVE* to dig through all the magic to find any and all Beta cards!!!

If you can get me cash, I can use cash to buy minis! PROBLEM SOLVED :)

beta basics go for $0.50-2.00 depending on which land and condition.
