I'm all for gettin' Velma all sexed-up (see My Wife for example)... what I disapprove of... it's that they force in a silly "All Velma needs to get a Man is to dress sluttier and take off her glasses" scene :( How about letting her get a dude (one that ISN'T a stereotypical Jerry Lewis Nutty Professor Nerd) on her own WITHOUT having to put on a push-up bra, low-cut shirt and Tammy Faye Make-Up!
