Me and Al



I did the math thanks to the archives at http://www.weirdal.com and it looks like tonight will mark the FIFTEENTH TIME I have seen Weird Al in concert over the past 20 years. In his entire career, I have only missed seeing him THREE TIMES when he has come to the greater Seattle area
  • In 1987 when he was the opening act for a Monkees Reunion Tour
  • In 2003 when the "Poodle Hat Tour" come through a second time (had already seen it in 2002)
  • In 2008 when the "Straight Outta Lynnwood Tour" came through a second time (had seen in 2007).


I have three different Weird Al T-Shirts ("Bad Hair Day Tour", "The Saga Begins" Tour and "2010 Tour").

I have one photo of Al and me together (see above). I have one autographed picture of Weird Al from the 1980's Close Personal Friends Of Al fan club.

Is it 7pm yet? I'm ready for the concert to start!

I am so jealous. As much as I love Al, I haven't been to his concerts (or checked to see when he might be in the area for concerts). I hide my head in shame
