Due to comments of some insolent whelp, I feel compelled to compile (in order) the Top 5 ABSOLETE BEST Super Hero movies of all time.

(5) Daredevil
(4) Batman
(3) X-Men
(2) Spider Man
(1) SUPERMAN

I mean, really... is ther any finer movie... any musical score for a movie... that completely and totaly wisks you away in to a world of heroes than Superman? The first Batman movie was very nice, but just a little bit too cartoony. By the second film, they had all ready decided that it was going to be an unreal world of fantasy architecture and impossible situations.

It makes me sad to know that Daredevil is on there only because "The Fantastic Four", a far superiour movie, was never released in theatres. *snerk*

I have to agree that the #1 Superhero film is Superman. Hands down.

X-Men, Spider Man, Batman and Daredevil all have good reasons to be in the top 5.

But if we were counting to 10, it'd be a crime not to include:
The Rocketeer
The Shadow
The Phantom
Blade II
Blade

Ya know, I thought about that. But I just can't take Peter Boyle n any mildly serious role, even if he is the psuedo-comic releif. And for that bit of poor casting, The Shadow doesn't make it to the Top 5. Plus, Daredevil had good visuals in several scenes.

Wow... expanding to Top 10, I agree with you most of the way, except for the Blade movies and The Phantom. Never saw The Phantom. The Blade movies relied too much on visual effects for my liking, even if Cat (from Red Dwarf) was in the second one. So the next 5 on the list would have to be

The Rocketeer
The Shadow
The Crow
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Flash Gordon (dig that Queen Soundtrack!)

All those movies would go somewhere after Flash Gordon, but way before Fantastic Four and Punisher. OOH! And Captain America! Oh, the 90's were full of shamefull direct-to-video comic book movies...

Teenage super heroes. Fighting the supervillain substitute teachers that are searching for the Secret Manuscript (TM) hehe it rules!! :D
