Fired
They called us in for a meeting to tell us not to worry; all Temp workers would be employed at least through the holidays. That was Friday.
We got home just in time to receive a call from the Temp Agency letting us know that 50% of the work force was being cut, and we were in that half that was being let go. That was 20 minutes ago.
I went to The Seattle Times On-Line to check the job listings, and the big headline of the day was that Washington State is in a recession; there are no jobs out there to be had.
Crystal cried. I just got sick. I have no idea what to do.
