Matrix Reloaded

I am purposefully avoiding reading my Friends List before I write my opinions of this movie because i do not want to be persuaded by any one else's opinions.

Matrix: Reloaded was quite possibly the most sub-par Sci-Fi experience I have ever witnessed. Special Effects easily re-created on any PS2 Game System, The longest (and most pointless) Rave/Sex Sceene I've ever seen in ANY movie, and about a half hour of plot and/or storyline combined. Would have made a great TV special, but not a full-length movie.

In the first movie, there were characters like Switch (the chick who dressed in white) that you got so little information about, you left thinking "Man I wish I knew more about that character". Reloaded has SEVERAL characters *sort of* like that, only they leave you asking "WHO THE HELL WAS THAT?!?!?!"

Ultimately dissapointing. Not *BAD*, just dissapointing. Wait till the DVD, or if you have to see it on the big screen, see it at a matinee.

X2 Ran CIRCLES around this turd of a movie.

that being said, i recommend Equilibrium.
I haven't seen matrix reloaded yet, but i couldn't see how they could possibly make a sequel to the original movie since the only thing that was fascinating about the original was the descarte-ish philosophy behind it
(the whole concept of the evil genius)
once you've exhausted that idea, you only have an illogical and unimpressive action movie left. which i gather from your review, is all the sequel is.
also, i fucking hate raves as a manifestation of popculture and anything that glorifies them.
