Instagram

After a long story involving tonsils, boredom and a Father sacrificing his prize electronic possession for his sick little girl, I now have a brand-new Google Nexus 7 with a *pretty bitchin'* camera in it (the only thing my Kindle Fire was lacking). And so of course I joined Instagram so I can enjoy pictures of the stuff that other people are drinking.

It's very enjoyable! Quick photo editing, immediate posting ability, cross-posting to several social networks... but not to LiveJournal :(

Only way I have found to get an image from Instagram to LJ is to cross-post it to Facebook, then grab the URLO of the image from *there*, and then post it here like this:



To quote the inept lady from the Perfect Pancake Maker infomercial who burns herself while trying to make pancakes the old-fashioned way, THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY!!!

My Nexus allows crossposting to LJ, easily. I think that you would need to install this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.livejournal.client&hl=en to get it to work.
