Is there a word for that? There should be a word for that...

Y'know that feeling of, like, when you haven't seen a really close friend in a long time because they moved away or you moved away or something, and then you reconnect on The Internet and decide to get together, and when they come over they brought their significant other with them, and the significant other is really hot and tries really hard to fit in but you and your old friend just have so many inside jokes and stuff but your old friend seems restrained and/or different because the significant other is around and they don't want to make their sweetheart feel uncomfortable so it's really awkward and you keep looking for a way to get out of the whole thing, but then the significant other goes out to, like, the store to get more chips or something and your buddy and you fall back into your comfort zone and it's great so you decide to just go with it and so you bust out an old game and start playing it with your old friend and then the significant other comes back with more chips and you all play together and it's kind of awkward but you decide to just roll with it because you missed your old friend so much that you're willing to put up with the awkwardness of the situation just so you can feel some sort of connection to those good feelings that you only got brief glimpses of during this visit?

THAT'S what Michael Bay does to beloved 80's cartoons. He's done it so often, there should really be a word for it by now :(

Has there been an announcement for yet another Michael Bay ruining our childhood movie?

Nope, but a friend finally broke down and watched the new TMNT movie. Made me remember that I had intended to write this out :)

I bet the Germans have something for that. They're good at that.
