Speaking of Golden Girls...

When the original pilot script for "The Golden Girls" was submitted to Disney/Touchstone, Michael Eisner liked it but he felt something was missing. He thought a show about three old women living together might scare away younger viewers. He asked Susan Harris to keep working on it. Harris then added the character of Sophia. When she was added, Dorothy became just another woman dealing with her mother and Eisner loved it. After Sophia was added and a pilot was shot, a character named Coco, a gay male servant was cut from the series.

Sigh... If you notice the thread where Brian and i are incomprehensibly throwing gaming stuff back and forth at each other, well, he said these idiot people kept backing up spurious arguements with even more spurious links. And he ranted. So i replied with actually some well thought out comments on gaming (in my opinion) but backed it up with a toatlly spurious link, that being, homestarrunner, he replied i was missing the entire point, his point was this, and showed a link from... oh, really, it's better if you go through it yourself. Click on all the links. You will be amused

the thread starts here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/captain_slinky/115693.html) It's worth your time, definiitely amusing anyway. Where we get these links, i have no idea....
