Classic Rock Cafe!

Crystal and I just had dinner at "Jimmy Jack's Classic Rock Cafe" on Highway 99. Intrigued by the Fifties-esque sign, we figured it would be a hoot!

Aparently, "Calssic Rock" means "We bought a package of party supplies for a Fifties theme party with 4 cardboard cut-outs of classic cars, and we also put a Xerox copy of a pictiure of Elvis on the menu".

All the classic Fifties foods were there! You know... stuff like Pot Stickers, Egg Rolls, Nachos, Breaded Veal, and Spaghetti.

Way i figure it, this must be the 6th relaunch of this restaurant, and they just keep on bringing back whatever they have leftovers of from the previous incarnation. It was really quite sad :(

Where on 99? Sounds entertaining in an awful sense. How was the food?

The food was... uhm... served to us on a plate? I think that's the best way to describe it. Nothing spectacular, you could tell it all came from Costco. From the instant mashed potatoes to the thin-sliced roast beef to the "Brown" flavored gravy, it was all very Costco-ish.

Okay, where on 99? On the way to Everett. Ooh! They have a web site! I can't believe it! One of the waitresses must have picked up a copy of HotDog Web Designer and put up a web site! This site has all the Classic-Rock Atmosphere of the restaurant, and then some! CLICK HERE FOR JIMMYJACKS.COM
