Less than 100 Trekies showed up (I'd say close to 50), so the room was more than half empty. There was little or no organization. The audio/visual equipment (which our people should be GAWDS with) was state-of-the-art technology for 1989, and they couldn't even master that! A grand total of 5 dealers in the "Dealers" room trying to charge $25 a pop for $10 T-Shirts and other stuff that can be easily purchased on-line for 1/3rd the price. Uncomfortable, no air conditioning, a lack of real Trekies (not a Klingon in the whole lot of 'em!) and a general air of inneptitude. I could go on and on about it (like I just did)!

The only good part was the hour that Brent Spiner spent on stage. And since it was just a fist-full of us there, it was quite intimate. Not $65 per seat intimate, but cozy none the less.
