Why do I do that to myself?

Yeah... about that Comic Book Convention at The Seattle Center that I was going to today.

I don't really know why I bother going to those ones any more. They just depress me.

I bought some stuff, I got some really good deals, but I also left after only one hour. I would say there were less than 40 people in attendance. We got a free "Saw II" poster for attending.

And then we left.

I felt no excitement, no comraderie, no sense of community. It wasn't a convention, it was a comic-themed Swap Meet.

Emerald City Comic Con can't get here fast enough as far as I'm concerned!

thats so weird. the last con i went to was in columbus, OH. there were TONS of people, tho the prices were FAR TOO JACKED UP. i had fun, people were generally pretty cool.

One of my favorite cons I've ever been to was the Mid Ohio Comic Con :)
