Midnight Madness

CompUSA is having another one of their Midnight Madness sales tonight. We plan on getting yet more blank DVD's (50 for $8) and possily a new eMachines computer ($88 after rebates). Anywho, just thought I'd let you know! Take a look at tThe On-Line Ad (damned Acrobat file) and let me know if you need me to pick anything up for you!

(this is of course aimed directly at my friends in Washington state, but if you're willing to pay for the shipping I'd be more than happy to pick up whatever you non-washintonians need as well)

Is it usually crowded?

That $88 thing is only if you sign up for a year of AOL - no thanks!

USUALLY the Midnight Madness sales are really crowded, but tonight it was dead. Aparently everything they had advertised was limited to about 8 in stock, and about 80% of the "Deals" were tied to signing up with AOL.

This was the first of their Midnight Madness sales that I have walked away from with absolutely no purchases :(

Stupid, stupid, stupid AOL. We were thinking of signing up and then giving the year of prepaid internet to his parents for Christmas, but AOL is $24/mo! I had no clue people were stupid enough to pay that kind of money for DIAL UP!
