I've found that the best torrents are the semi-private ones that make you log-in. I gave up on stuff like Pirate Bay and Torrent Reactor, as I was getting far to much Spyware and Malware. So far, these are my favorites:

I almost always only use private ones these days... much better selection, more likely to have seeds, and less virii and the like to be found. The quality is just better!

http://isohunt.com - just started using it - haven't died yet - and the only thing it hasn't been able to find me so far is Marc Broussard's album.

I've used Isohunt before... I'm scared of it because there's no registration and therefore more likely to have people upload pretty much wahtever they want (viruses and malware and spyware OH MY!)
