Rude awkening

Stupid friggin' linear nightmare... GRRRRR! I was asleep for 6 hours, and the nightmare took 6 hours to play out. From the moment the hellicopter crashed near my bus stop till the moment the fires were litterally at the back door, SIX FRIGGIN' HOURS. Ended up FORCING myself awake and now I keep dozing off at the keyboard. Results of the nightmare:
  • Glad that [livejournal.com profile] khristle had already gone in to town and was safe.
  • Sad that The Farm and all our posessions were going to be lost in the fire.
  • Anger at the cellphone company for not being able to connect me to 911 services so I could report the fire.
  • Frustration with my mother for delaying our evacuation with stupid stuff.
  • Determination to save Molly, my Mom and myself from the flames by crashing through the gates of a neighors field and on to the upper levels of Highway 20.

I forced myself awake before we could execute that last part of the plan.

At least your dream was intersting, if scary. Mine lasted about 4 hours and was mainly me trying to figure out how to run a PS2 controller cable through my clothes so I could control the game without using my fingers. It probably took so long because that is just not possible, although I felt it was in the dream. And of course I do not, nor have I ever owned a PS2. What a boring dream!

Good Lord! I feel for you, man. After a dream like that you seriously need to just veg out for the day. Fire dreams are scary :(

Now see, I would LOVE to have a Zombir Apocolypse dream every once in a while. I *LOVE* Zombies! They're my absolute favorite genre of horror, and I spend a good chunk of my spare time contemplating exactly how I would handle the dead rising from he grave. But do you think I could get one... JUST *ONE*... stinkin', stupid, silly little Zombie nightmare? NOOOOOOOO! I gotta go and have real-life fears and terrors invade my slumber!

    I have been Gyped!

Speaking of which, and to bring this reply full-circle tied-in to YOUR reply... I think I'll go listen to my Original Cast Recording of "Gypsy" now, featuring none other than Ethel Merman!

Did you... I think you did! You just turned a Predicate in to an Adverb! That was INCREDIBLE!

A dissolusioned white-man's immaginary take on the Malcolm X mythos as seen through the rose-colored glasses of media disinformation? Yeah... I can see that... :P

i have the occassional zombie dream now and then. some harmless dreams, some hectic ones, the funniest was when i tried to get the zombies to recall their previous lives and stop them from attacking by trying to get them to sing kumbaya... it worked oddly enough, and in the dream the scene panned out until you saw the whole earth and could hear every zombie on earth singing kumbaya...

    are you scared yet? :)
