Recap of The Day

Went to me Mr. Dr. today, he says i have los a grand total of 27 Pounds since my first weighing back at the end of Decemer; I come in at a clean 375lbs soaking wet! Starting next week: Purreed foods! You say you like a Hamburger, Fries and a Milkshake? Well howsabout a Hamburger-Fries Milkshake? All in one glass? WOOT!

Okay, this is the stage of recovery I'm not to psyched about. Purreed foods gimme the heebie-jeebs. But I'll make it!

Made [livejournal.com profile] khristle a kick-ass batch of Low-Carb chicken fajitas for dinner tonight. Seems that I'm an even BETTER cook when I don't have the opportinity to taste and say "Tastes prety good, ut I wonder how it would taste with just a bit more _______".

And last but not least, our car is YET AGAIN screwed. Aparently there is a known isue with the ignition on a Ford Focus where it'll just suddenly "Freeze" on you. Sorry pal, no more turning of that key for you! Ford knows about it, when you call them they'll say "Yup, those'll do that... prety much sucks, don't it?" If you own a Ford Focus and the ignition HASN'T frozen yet, it is only a matter of time before it does so and you have to replace it on your own dime. Not covered by your warantee.

Never, NEVER a ford again!

Why did they get you soaking wet before weighing you??? Wait! Was that one of those sexy nurse sponge bath scenes? Oh you rascal you! :D

The problems with the ignition suck. We've had a Ford Mustang for 7 years and had no problems with it whatsoever. Of course the saddle does chafe a bit when it rains. :D

Congrats on the weight loss. That is awesome! You should have your beautiful bride take photos of you throughout the process so you can be encouraged by the visual process. No shirt so you can really see the change. No other clothes either, but for other reasons you porn star! ;-D

I'm telling ya, call a locksmith! We had our frozen ignition replaced for a little over $100. The locksmiths know about the issue too and can get good non-Ford parts.

Locksmith told us $350. I wish we had YOUR lockmith handy!

Holy shit! I wish you had our locksmith too. Damn.

So Ahhh does this mean your allowed to come out and play this weekend?

All you need is a good pair of oxen to tow your ford cart.
You should install one of those kick ass cool buttons that says like warp speed, death from above, 8.6 on the Richter scale, or something. Press it and the car will start. Do they make finger print biometric readers for ignition switches. Now that would be cool. If all else fails just hot wire the bastard.

No no no the BIG SHINNY RED BUTTON! Will he press it? Wait until next week to find out. Vroom! Hey look at that it started the car.

Crossing my fingers... I WILL NOT MIS OUT ON METING LOIS LANE AND CHEWBACCA!!!

My wife has had the same ignition freezing twice now on her Dodge. After the first time a mechanic told her that it was because her keys were too heavy. (She is one of those who collects key chain doo-hickeys, her keys weigh like 20 pounds) So, the second time, she got rid of all the extra's on her key chain once it started happening and it stayed stiff for about two months before going completely inoperable, where the first time it went from stiff to inoperable in less than a week. $350? You are getting ripped off. I did it myself each time, and I hate working with cars. It took maybe 3 hours and cost under 25$ for the part and under 25$ for the tool. Of course, mine is a dodge, so maybe they are easier? Although, it definitely was NOT easy. Had to take apart the whole steering column and half the instrument panel to get to the thing.
