Accomplishments for today

Ordered a SATA Enclosure. Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] collisions who offered to swap us a mess of EIDE drives for the SATA drive, but I think it's better that we join the rest of The Future now.

Got Molly to DRINK a cup of milk rather than playing in it and/or dumping it and/or spitting it into something else.

Corresponded with Roy RE: The Past, closed a bunch of old wounds so we can just put it behind us now.

Had the new Dish Washer installed. it's so pretty! I can hardly wait to dirty-up some dishes!

STILL TO DO:

Plan dinners for the next week.

Gather and price stuff for the Garage Sale that we're gonna have weekend after next.

List something on Ebay.

Scoop cat boxes.

Bet a bucket of dirt for our planter boxes.

Ship stuff for old Ebay sales.

Clean off computer desk.

Plan costume for Brittany's ECCC.

Drinking from a cup instead of playing splash! Hurrah! We just got Caleb to do that too. He's been using a cup with a lid and straw for a while so we could put off the mess. He's finally willing to drink right.

Glad to hear that you and Roy are working things out.

Dishwasher! Oh the unspeakable joy of having a good dishwasher!

Garage sale, eh? Is this going to be a mundane sale or a Geek's Garage sale (complete with advertisements at all the normal geek places)? Let me know when it is. I'll try to stop by if I'm around.

You have been many days with nothing on eBay. Only the fact that you sold so much the week before has prevented me from mocking you. But it is a new week. Post something or be mocked! :D

I have to scoop cat boxes too. I hate that job.

What is Brittany going as?

No idea what Britt is going to the convention as. That's why she's on my list! Less than a month to go!

Search craigslist with the keyword "topsoil". there's a guy very VERY close to us that's got a big pile up for free... Which, depending on how much dirt you need for those planters, it may be worth the gas to drive & fill up some buckets rather than going to the World of Wall to pay money for dirt.

We need aproximately 4 cups of dirt. Not sure if that's enough to justify a trip *anywhere* other than to the little woodsey area behind our apartment... it's just pansies, after all! they grow in ANYTHING!

But thanks all the same :)

No problem, always up to help another Freegan Practitioner.

Hey, wasn't I supposed to try & get you some herb starts? Like rosemary/sage/etc? I'm about to try starting some catnip from seed, want some? You'll have to come up with your own catproof wire-mesh cage though...

We don't get enough sun to grow any herbs :( It keeps our apartment cool, but is heck on trying to grow stuff.

I think parsley and cilantro are both okay in shade if either of those are of interest. I know, it's only the less fun stuff that works in the shade. Blech.

I know! I was telling the lady at Emery's all about how I wanted a great big batch of fresh herbs to choose from and she was all happy till i said "And the only place we have to put them is a place that only gets maybe an hour of sunlight every day". Then she just got a sour face and suggested that I learn how to cook with dirt :(
