THIS FRIDAY! MORE D&D!

I hope everybody will be able to make it for Friday Night D&D this Friday! Bring what you will; I'll have some snacks available and all the clean delicious Tap Water you can drink :)

Bring a character that you know and love. Use the D&D Character Builder Beta to make a clean-and-pretty character sheet, print it out and bring it! Be sure that you have a little bit of an understanding of how your characters powers work, it'll make everything go smoother :)

Feel free to show-up any time between 4 and 7, gaming will be a bit more easy to control this time as we have an actual ADVENTURE to go through instead of just blindly staggering in to a situation with no prep work having been done.

Gaming will start wrapping-up at 9:30 so that we can get out and hit the local Dumpsters by 10 while everybody is still awake :)

Dumpster? I will be there and I'll probably bring a party plater from Albertson's. I am also bringing a new character. Probably a fighter since that seemed to balance the party.

Yes, DUMPSTER!!! We happen to live near an area known for having large chain stores that are under-patronized and therefore throw away A LOT of stuff. Not just food items... we're talking real-world items like CD's, DVD's, Paper, Computer parts, Holiday Merchandise... it's a veritable smorgasboard!

Of course, the Dumpster Diving is optional :) I personally will not be going, instead staying at my place and taking care of The Kids while The Ladies go out and dive.

you may want to see if you can get established as a gateway event organizer with WotC. it can earn you special product and rewards for your playgroup...

I understand... many folks just don't have what it takes to roll the dice. You are just one of the many who live with that shame which I know personally. Some day...

Okay, so... Dan's bro told us that he wanted to come up with his gf this weekend, but is not getting back to me about WHEN he plans on showing up. I've asked him several times now. But if they're coming tomorrow night, then we won't be able to come. :( They might not come in 'til Saturday, though. I will let you know as soon as I do, that's the best I can do. :(

it's all cool... the Adventure i have planned will be very easy for new characters to get inserted in to next time around :)

Also, we want to have just you and yours over (or we could come over there) some night so we can teach you the basics of Dungeons & Dragons on a small-scale level. Then maybe you'll be more interested in joining us for something bigger?

So now Aurelia is sick (and already in bed napping, which surely is a sign of the apocalypse), so we wouldn't have been able to come anyway. hahaha, double wammy. But anyhoo, glad it won't be a biggy to the game playing.

I would love to have you guys over here sometime anyway, but as for teaching me how to play..... I honestly don't know that my brain works that way. It hears anything remotely sci-fi/fantasy and just *shuts off*. Very similar to how it reacts when it hears religious things. I can't explain it. I just don't follow.
I suppose I could try, but everyone involved might get really, really frustrated. :P Even without the fantasy component, I have a really hard time learning how to play new games. I really had no intention of ever playing (and *I'M* totally fine with that, hehe), but you guys just seem so bent on stealing me over to the dark side... ;)
