Andy Hallet

I met "The Host" once back when that's all he was known as... "The Host". He was making an appearance at The Mid Ohio Comic Con. At the time i was not a fan of Buffy or Angel or anything Whedonesque yet due to my being all of the Suck.

Andy Hallet and somebody else from Angel were there, and they were hosting a special event that night in the bar of the hotel where the convention was being held. I met the two of them in The Elevator (the same elevator where I med Lou Ferrigno, but that's a different name-dropping story) and they seemd like pretty awesome guys. They asked me if I was going to The party, i said no. They tried for 7 floors to convince me that if i missed this party i would regret it for the rest of my life!

Once I started watching Angel and got to know the character, I regretted not having gone ot The party.

Now that Andy Hallet is dead, i REALLY regret not having gone to the party :(

I met him too, at a Buffy/Star Trek convention in Seattle. (Were you there?) He was so sweet. Was he with the guy who played Clem? I was convinced they were boyfriends.

He was so sweet and funny. Very sad. First Doyle and now Lorne. :(

That's probably who it was with him in that elevator... "Clem". They did seem very "Coupled".

Oddly enough, I don't go to many of the Star Trek conventions any more because Creation has just managed to crank out the worst shows I can imagine. The first Star Trek convention i went to locally wasn't a Creation Convention and so it was pretty awesome, with a slew of Next Gen cast members. Other than that I only go if there's BIG NAMES to be seen. Patrick Stewart, Shatner & Nimoy, Brent Spiner... and that's it? Yeah, I guess that's it.

Now I'm all bummed out over how few Star Trek conventions I've been to :(

Yeah I saw the news a couple of hours ago. Pretty sad. He lit up that show.
