Tingly

Comic Book Ink in Tacoma has officially ruined me for Comic Book Stores in general. If I were to re-open a shop right now, that's EXACTLY how I'd do it.

That video has left me feeling numb and tingly and post-coital. It makes me NEED to own a comic book store again :(

I need to get back into comics. I never got into comics full on due to my isolation growing up. I could buy a comic and then never see another issue of the same comic for years. I would start to get into a story and then not be able to read the rest of the story. Basically my entire comic experience has consisted of reading an issue of a story somewhere in the middle of the story usually so I was never quite sure what was going on and then would never get to find out how things wrapped up with the story. I would love to get into some comics again but there are so many to pick from and I don't want to start in the middle any more. I would really appreciate any help you could offer.

Well HELLS YEAH! I'll think about it and get back to you as to how I would start if i were you... Free Comic Book Day is a great starting point.

Sadly I will be unable to attend this year unless you can get me copies. Again that raises my problem though. I always start out at the mid points of stories. I was kinda liking the idea of looking for the back issues of one or two I have so I could maybe finish them finally. I just read a Death Bringer I thought was cool, I also was thinking about looking into others like Conan or ones like it.
