The Plan

Occasionally, folks will ask me "Captain, how can you BE so effin' funny?" And I'll usually answer with something along the lines of "Well what I do is i sit at home in a darkened room thinking up witty things to say when/if aomebody says something. I'm all 'If somebody says THIS, then I'll say *this* and that'll be funny, yeah, that'll make them like me' and I make sure to have something funny stored away for every occasion".

This is, sadly, 98% TRUE. For instance, tomorrow...

Tomorrow afternoon I plan to show up at the theater in my full Star Trek uniform (see icon) and then, once I'm there at the ticket booth, I'm going to take a few moments to look over all the various films that are showing and get a really surprised look on my face as I turn to khristle and shout "HONEY, LOOK! THERE'S A NEW STAR TREK MOVIE!!! What a coincidence!!!"

My husband just did that when we went to buy our midnight showing tickets for tonight. He's standing there in line, gets up to the counter...and looks over all the movies, he then turns to me and I say "8 tickets for Star Trek please" and he says "BUT HONEY! I thought we were going to go see the new Hannah Montana movie!!!!" then he storms off, as if he was really angry. What a dork =P
