Darkest Night questions
In our Field Trip to The Comic Book Store last night, I bought the new DC Comics "Darkest Night" #1. I've been frantically catching-up on all the DC Comics stuff thanks to the Library, but there are questions...
First, Superboy is back and Pa Kent is dead again? When/how did this happen? This is EXTREMELY confusing for me because the last time anybody brought up Connor Kent at a convention, all the writers and Dan Didio himself just kept repeating the mantra "Connor is dead, there is no Superboy"! He died fighting Superboy Prime and that's that! All I can hope is that it's covered someplace n 52, which I am just about to start reading.
Second, I find it REALLY HARD to accept that The Rogues have a "Secret Graveyard" in Keystone City where they bury all the fallen rogues along with life-size statues of the fallen. Nobody ever noticed the large collection of statues being admired by grieving men of spandex?
And finally, I... I just don't know. It seems to be a pretty cheap (and late) attempt to cash in on the trend created by Marvel Zombies. It all seems really... I don't know. I like the way they're doing it with the rings and all, but... it seems kind of forced?

This way DC can tell all kinds of stories without worrying about continuity. Then in 10-20 years, they can reset everything again to just one reality. And sell lots and lots of 'Collector' issues.

I only buy comics in TPB form, so I fall behind in storylines, thus the wiki reading.
