Bestest 4th Birthday EVAR!!!

It's official! For Molly's 4th Birthday, we're going to DISNEYLAND!!! Just bought the plane tickets during Southwest's crazy 72-hour sale, now we need to iron out the rest of the details!

So excited :D

Congrats! Disneyland is great and I'm excited that you were able to take advantage of the Southwest sale!

My suggestions:

1. Hopper Passes are cheaper online.
2. Check out what restaurants are nearby the park. Find out if they have birthday clubs that give kids free meals. Sign up Molly. I know that Denny's and Millie's Restaurant do. I took Ari for her 3rd birthday and this helped cut back on meals.
3. Try to eat outside the park as much as possible, but don't be afraid to splurge on reservations for one of the character meals if possible. Totally worth the kiddo memories.
4. Get an autograph book, if you guys want to do that sort of thing, before you go from somewhere like eBay. I saved a bunch doing that.
5. Save any and all coupons you might get, especially one that might be included in your Hopper Passes. Even if you think you won't use them, take them with you anyway. I cut the cost of Ari's MUST-HAVE Cinderella dress by $20.00.

Yay for Disneyland! Yay for travel!

Nt sure if Crystal already conveyed the details to you, but we leave on Thursday January 28th and get back on the following Monday :)

No other details yet... haven't even decided on where we're gonna stay!

Hmm, will you be there on her *actual* birthday? How many days are you planning to spend in the park? Will you be renting a car (I recommend against it), uhm, I have more questions but I'm tired.

Let's see... YES we will be there on her actual Birthday (Friday January 29). We plan to do 2 days at Disney Land and one day at California Adventure (Gotta see the Mainstreet Electrical Parade after all). Heidi said we should rent a car, but that's Heidi. She figured that the best way to deal with getting fired was to go spend two weeks in Hawaii. But she said that she got one last time for $20 a day and unlimited mileage... I prefer getting a ride from Jan and then just planning on staying in the park and our hotel room for pretty much the entire trip! And if Jan can't give us a ride, I'm sure we can get a shuttle? We're flying in to San Diego instead of LAX because it was about $30 cheaper...
