Menu

At the request of my darling wife, a neww menu for the coming week:

MONDAY: Chicken Stir Fry

TUESDAY: Oven-Fried Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Peas

WEDNESDAY: BBQ Hamburgers, Potato Salad

THURSDAY: Candy-Covered Pizza, Lard (Crystal will be away, Molly and I will be alone for dinner)

FRIDAY: BBQ Chicken, Baked Beans, Corn on The Cobb

SATURDAY: At The Ren Fair

SUNDAY: Spanish Rice

I once came up with a way to make chocolate lasagne. Chocolate pasta isn't hard to make. Just substitute copious amounts of cocoa powder for the flour.

What is the pizza ACTUALLY made with? Not just the little white lie you told Molly. Candied yams? Carmelized onions? RedHot chili peppers?

Candy-Covered Pizza is Molly's idea. I asked her what she wanted when it was going t be just her and me eating with no Mommy, she suggested this. I added the Lard side-dish as my own creative touch :)

Perhaps as a dessert? With leftovers as the entree. Might be more acceptable to Mommy that way.

May I suggest you sneak some vegetables on the pizza? Candy corn and jelly beans are named after the vegetable food group. That HAS to be healthy, right? She'll never notice.

Oh Lordy NO! My uncle DIED in a terrible York Peppermint Patty mishap pack in the late 80's... he bit in to a York Peppermint Patty and got the sensation that he was atop a mountain in the Andes. Stranded with no food or water and hardly dressed for the situation, he died almost instantly :(
