Personal Time

Time Travel is completely and totally possible and even probable if YOU believe it is, because YOU are the center of YOUR timeline.

Woke up with this thought, need to write it down before it goes away.

All of you reading this, you're not real; you're all set dressing and reminders for my own personal time line, just as I am not really in yours. We all exist for only those moments that we have some impact on the life of the person who's time line we are in. If I go back in time and kill my own grandfather before he can meet my grandmother, it makes no difference; my past has no bearing on my future because it's MY timeline. The Butterfly Effect is meaningless. I am a series of events will have been going to have been happening regardless of what I do.

DAMN but this is good allergy medicine...

This sounds a bit like solipsism.

Kind of? Only that I'm certin we ALL exist, just in our own time lines. In *my* time line, my life is awesome. If something bad is happening to somebody I know and I know about it because I heard about it, it's only because they are stuck in *my* time line and the bad things happening to that person are there as a... an ingredient? My time line was meant to be effected by hearing about this bad thing happening to somebody else. But over in THAT person's time line, the terrible thing never happened to them - maybe it even happened to *me* instead. And then when I *do* experience something terrible, it will just mean that my timeline is ended in some way and I've switched over in to somebody else's time line where *I* am now the ingredient/example/background influencing somebody else's life. Am I actually writing this, or is this a message from your subconscious trying to alert you to something?

No, I'm pretty sure we're all just random but precisely defined events occurring the only way that they can, unfolding in a program that is determined by the collapse of superpositions. The illusion of consciousness on our parts is merely a program run by more of those unfolding events.

"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages."

You are in the chorus of the broadway musical that is my life. Your name gets printed in the program but mine is up in lights!

What meds are you on? Because if they're that good, I want to try them. My allergies are kicking my but from here to Philadelphia right now, so I'm willing to try just about anything.

A lifetime of allergy suffering has lead to lots of experimentation. Best solution I have found so far is an 8-hour dose of Sudafed combined with two Tylenol PM, chased with Mucinex.
