As is traditional in these parts, khristle spent almost two days insisting that she wasn't sick and that it was just allergies, only to then succumb to a well-deserved 15 hours of sleep.

Thing to remember, folks, is that your body doesn't really care if it's allergies or a virus. It still has to fight the invaders and protect the homeland. Eventually your troops are gonna get fatigued on the one battlefront, leaving you wide open for attack from other enemies.

Whatever she has, Molly and I are *getting it*. MOLLY is the absolute worst at being sick, because she refuses to rest. For her, SLEEP is the TRUE enemy and she will fight it every inch of the way. When fighting sleep, she gets super-energetic-manic-frantic (expialidocious).

I think of Auto Pilot as the blank-stare, robotic actions, eyes wide open part of sleep avoidance. But THIS... THIS is like active defiance! "SCREW YOU, SLEEP! I'm gonna run and jump and FLYOHMYGODI'MFLYING!!!!!!
