And yes, I feel fine.
We went to Tuesday Morning and picked up some 500 thread count sheets today. Why do the expensive sheets require all this "special care" (wash only in cold and on gentle), but the crappy $14 ones from K-Mart can be washed with little or no care?
Ended up going to the Seattle Center show on Sunday morning with
khristle and basked in the glory of panicked retalers who paid too much money for a table at a mediocre show. Lots and lots and LOTS of stuff was deeply discounted (picked up 3 packs of Mini-Mates and a T'Pol action figure - usually $5 to $8 each - for a buck each). The quarter bins did not dissapoint, but my heart wasn't in to it. Picked up some What If? and Mighty Mouse issues to keep next to the crapper for emergnecy use. But the main reason for going was to finally get a DVD copy of Disney's Song Of The South and the Star Wars Holiday Special. And of course I stood around gawking at the demonstration screen where they played No Man's Land, Grayson, Fantastic 4 and other bootleg wonders.
It seemed that the only "guests" there were Michael Turner and Randy Emberlin... but Randy Emberlin doesn't really count because any time there's more than 3 geeks gathered together, Randy's got his booth up so he can sell his wares.
Didn't stand in line this time; didn't show up till after NOON (a first for me), and the world didn't end. Still, I don't think I should take chances like that any more.
Had dinner with P&C on Saturday night, then made them come to our house to subject them to the horrors of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. By Gawd, I think they may have dug it!
And lastly, I got my Ed Wood DVD! Oh how I love this movie! Made Crystal watch it with me, and she seems to have enjoyed it. But not on the same level as a geek like me enjoys it. While it has been OnDemand from Comcast, I've watched it at least once every day at work and each time I catch another brilliant, beautiful, inspiring moment that I may have missed before. It's a movie that makes me feel happy :)
