UFYH is a pretty cool site. It isn't the unrealistic Martha Stewart of cleaning and organization. I already do the UFYMorning stuff when I can. Sometimes I goof off online and lose track of time and suddenly it's bedtime and I'm tired and I don't do it. But when I do, my morning is sooooo much smoother.
I even cook up a batch of (my special diet version) breakfast sausage for the week and keep it in a container in the fridge so I have something to take a few bites of in the morning. I don't eat much of an early breakfast. I have a little protein in the form of sausage, and sometimes an egg if I feel like cooking one up AND the kitchen is reasonably clean AND I have the time. :D
Another thing I've done to keep things from getting Fd up is to carry around a basket with me whenever I move around the house. I look for things which don't belong where they are. They go into the basket. When I enter a new room, I check the basket to see if I have items which belong in that room and put them away. Keeps things from getting too cluttered without much effort. I don't go out of my way to pick things up or put them away, but it's amazing just how much gets done with the basket method.
