captain_slinky | "Liberal Propaganda" could rhyme with "Little Purple Panda"

I'm probably not the first to realize this, but it just struck me today that the classic Doctor Suess book "Green Eggs And Ham" is nothing more than Liberal Propaganda used to brainwash our young.

Our story concerns two characters. "Sam-I-Am" and his unnamed room mate. Sam (the Liberal) REALLY likes Green Eggs And Ham, and is willing to go to great lengths to try and convince his room mate to just *try* the Green Eggs And Ham. His Room Mate (the Conservative) does not want to try them, and the more effort Sam-I-Am expends in trying to get this guy to just try the Green Eggs And Ham, the more vehemently opposed to Green Eggs And Ham the room mate becomes. Much like the Liberals with Racial Equality, Women's Lib and Gay Marriage (amongst others), Sam-I-Am spends all his time and resources on trying to create a groundswell of public opinion that Green Eggs And Ham are totally okay. Planes, Trains, Goats, Boats... they ALL want this guy to try the Green Eggs And Ham! But the Conservative, he's still going with just the fact - Dude, those eggs and that ham are *green* That's an abomination!

Eventually, however, he finally gives in and tries the eggs. Coloreds can sit anywhere on the bus, Women can vote, Gays can get legal-married... and the final lesson of the book is "Just give up, Conservatives... we can force you to try and accept ANYTHING, so why even bother?"
