Breakfast: Chicken Thigh & Leg
Lunch: Chicken Thigh and Salami
Dinner: Low-Carb Tacos in egg-n-cauliflower tortillas (SUCCESS!)

Gym: None, 28.8 miles total

Clean: 20/10 X8(!!!), 45/15 x1(!)

After the 1980's Saturday Morning Historical Reenactment Society Watch-Along yesterday (which was a huge success), I felt a bit sick from having watched some SIX HOURS of TV non-stop, and was also feeling a bit guilty for not having done ANYTHING other than the watch-along all day, so I went in to a super-cleaning mode that lasted FIVE HOURS. Kitchen (most specifically the refrigerator) is CLEAN!

Then Molly surprised us with MollyCon 2013, which I've already written about :) During dinner she said "You're going to want the camera, Daddy, so you can remember these things and remind me of them when I grow up!"

Sorry, I think I'm having an allergic reaction to emotion right now... eyes are dripping...

I felt overwhelmed by all the tv too. Then I realized I used to do this ONCE A WEEK! It was our only unrestricted tv time. It let my parents sleep in.

I know, right? We're gettin' OLD :( But at least it explains why my parents would always say "Why don't you go outside and play?" - They were just seeing us do something that they can't do any more! Kind of like old people who try to get certain music banned, tell kids to stop dressing so slutty, etc... it's pure jealousy!

Don't you miss those days when you could dress slutty? :)

Egg & cauliflour? Interesting. I've done egg and almond flour tortillas before, but it's not easy to get good almond flour around here. It was just a little splash of olive oil, some almond flour, an egg, and a splash of lime juice. They had to be baked on parchment paper though. Reasonably tasty but a little expensive (good fine almond flour and parchment paper ain't cheap). I wouldn't recommend the Trader Joe's brand for it. The only one that worked for me was King Arthur's almond flour, but that's too pricey for everyday stuff.

Yay cleaning! I did a couple of hours of it yesterday to prep for Game Night. It was a nice small group this time. We had 6 people show up. I played Sentinels of the Multiverse and chatted with people. It was good. And the house is in pretty good order again. The sewing mess is finally cleaned up, though I keep finding little bits of metallic silver thread everywhere. I have a feeling that will keep happening for a while.

Let us know when you're doing another game night so we can play Sentinels. :D

I WANT TO PLAY SENTINELS SO BAD!!! Sorry we couldn't make it, I was busy attending MollyCon :)

The cauliflower/egg tortillas are very easy but also pretty darned expensive - takes a whole head of cauliflower and 3 eggs to make 3 to 4 tortillas! But so simple - here: http://www.happychomp.com/post/48093575572/recipe-taco-shells-made-from-cauliflower

It can also be used for making a pretty durable pizza crust from what I'm told (less egg, plus oregano)!
