005 - A Smattering Of Thwart
Jan. 5th, 2015 09:00 amFirst Monday of the New Year, with some 23 days to get "in shape" for our trip to Disneyland, and my plans have already been thwarted!
My plan had been a daily routine that went thusly:
Unfortunately, my wallet is missing :( No YMCA Membership card, no ID so they can look me up, nothing. ANd so today I will be skipping my cardio, maybe do it while we're at the gym tonight (I can get in with Crystal's ID).
My plan had been a daily routine that went thusly:
- Wake at 6:30
- Listen to NPR while I poop and casually sip coffee till 7:30
- Go wake up The Kid with an obnoxiously bouncy and upbeat song ("It's time for you to rise! / Get up and rub your eyes! / Get up! / Wake up! / Molly Molly PLEASE wake up! / It's time to start our day!", repeat till she replies "Okay Daddy! / I'm awake! / Let's brush our teeth and start the day!"), as is tradition.
- Make breakfast for Molly so she can eat while watching cartoons
- Pack a lunch for Molly and make sure she's actually getting dressed/getting ready for school
- Get "dressed" (thrown on some sweat pants and my shoes) and make myself a quick Smoothie for breakfast
- Take Molly to School
- Go directly to YMCA for 15-45 minutes of cardio
- Get home in time to make lunch for Crystal
- Do two bouts of 20/10 Cleaning around the house
- Get Dinner going (aka "Decide what we're having for dinner then decide if there's time to cook it")
- List some stuff on Ebay
- Go pick up Molly from School
- Take Molly to the YMCA for a bit of a work out (build up her stamina with a few laps in the gym)
- Come home
- Colapse
