I don't update often enough...

I'm unemployed now, and yet I *STILL* don't have time to do all the stuff I wanna do! How much does that suck? Let's check the suck-o-meter...

WOW! That gets a 9.7 on the Suck-O-Meter! Not bad! That places it just above "Invader Zim Cancellation Rumors", but just below "Dead Gramma" (which got the ranking of 9.8 waaaaay back in 1990). And just to remind everyone, the HIGHEST marks ever recieved on the Suck-O-Meter were for the movie "Batman Forever" (9.87).

Tomorrow morning, we start working out. I am looking forward to it. I enjoy running when no one is chasing me. I enjoy lifting heavy things only to put the right back down and do it again. I enjoy riding a bike that goes nowhere.

Well, okay... not really. But I *do* enjoy the extra energy I get from it throughout the day, I *do* enjoy the loss of weight associated with it, and I *do* enjoy getting stronger from it. Which is good, I suppose, because when i get married, I'm gonna have to carry my blushing bride accross the threshold!

COOKING!!!

For the first time in my life, thanks to Chris and the Washington State Board of Health, I will be having chicken tonight that WILL NOT make me feel as though I have eaten a mixture of thumbtacks and plaster tomorrow morning. Meat thermometer calibrated to 32-degrees (glass of ice water), checking the temp of the bird in several different places, gonna make sure it's at a uniform 165 at the very least. And hopefully, if all goes accordng to plan, I won't have to make deals with the higher beings tomorrow morning, pleading with God for a bit of mercy as I strain my aching muscles and cry over my burning posterior. Of course, only me and my stack of comic books will know for sure if it actually worked.
