CRAP!

I'm doing my part for our household these days by bringing in a little bit of cash on eBay. I try to keep at least 30 auctions going at all times, and have been helping out quite a bit. It was all good, my feedback is hovering at around 300.

Today, eBay ended all my auctions and accused me of using a "schill".

A "Schill" is when you use a fake account to bid-up the high bid on your auctions. And hey, i admit it, I've done it in the past! Start up a fake account, use it to make sure you don't end up selling X-Men #4 for a buck-fifty, ya know? Haven't had to use it in a long time, though.

But the thing is, the account that they think is my "schill" is actually MY MOM! She likes to bid on my stuff every once in a while to try and give me money without actually *giving* me money. And they accused her of being a "Schill"!

There's 20 transactions between myself and my fake account that don't even make the folks at eBay bat an eye. But my Mom bids on more than one Elvis Presley Wrist Watch, and suddenly she's a non-entity that gets all my auctions ended! AAAAARGH!

So they ended about 40 of my auctions all at the same time, and sent an e-mail to everyone bidding that basically said "Now we're not saying that the seller is a *bad* guy... we're just saying that we don't trust him and neither should you". Is that even *legal*???

So now I'm frantically re-listing all our items. yes, I cna re-list right away... but they figure the best way to keep my Mom from bidding on my stuff any more is to end everything right away and have me frantically re-list it.
