We just got two great big desks for $10 each, and it only ended up costing us about $150! Next time Crystal tells me we should borrow my Dad's truck, I promise to listen to her.
Went to K-Mart today and they already have all their Christmas stuff out and set up and spinning and sparkling and making electronic caroling noises. Dude, it's not even OCTOBER yet! This is by far the earliest I have seen the Christmas greed spreading.
They have very keen Super Hero X-Mas Ornaments at K-Mart that will surely help in the gift-buying department for my loved ones. Shell out $20 for a *Hallmark* ornament, or $5 for the K-Mart version? I will love them both equally as much, so why not save some money?
They also have some very nifty Rankin-Bass figures this year from everything from Rudolph to The Year There Was No Santa Clause. Very tempted to decorate the Christmas Village in them this year.
I want a good old-fashioned Console TV like we used to have when I was growing up. On top of the TV was the BEST place to put a Christmas village!
And now I must go home, wake up my Schmoopie, and take back the U-Haul truck. Then dissassemble the desk and put it back together, all while dissassembling our entire home network and removing all the desks. FUN!!!
