Came home last night to find that an entire bottle of Soy Sauce had spilled on the lettuce I had intended to use for my Salad, making Salad a no-go option for dinner. So I resorted to the good-old tater/chicken/corn/gravy option for 10 points. Unfortunately, that means I had to dip in to my Flex Points for the week a bit early :( Only 27 flex-points left to last me till Tuesday!

Breakfast today is just an apple, 1 point. We are planning on going out for a few hours while my Mom and Dad and Sister watch Molly for us, and I think I might like to have a Hamburger and Fries today :)

Skipped the apple, went straight to Herfey's for a burger and fries as my breakfast today. Blasphemous as it may sound, Herfeys has replaced Dicks as my absolute favorite burgers in the Puget Sound. So here's hat I had, and my guestimated points for each. Please feel free to ring in if you feel I've miscalculated.

"Hefty" Cheeseburger (1/4lb hamburger patty, slice of american processed cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, "Secret Sauce"): 11 points

Basket of Fries: 8 points

Small order of batter-fried Onion Rings: 8 points

Grand total: 27 points.

And dinner tonight it a chuck roast with carrots and potatos.

So let's just assume that today I will have blown all my remaining flex points, shall we :)

After having gotten the "You have no more space on your hard drive, click here to free up aditional space" for the bazillionth time, I decided to click around and see if I could find out just exactly WHERE all my hard drive space had gone.

And there, on the Drive Properties Screen (where it showed I was using 98% of my pathetic little 70GB drive) was an un-checked option for "Compress Drive To Save Disk Space". Hello, what's this? So I checked the un-checked box, hit apply, and told me it was gonna take about 14 hours to do the job.

Here I am 14 hours later, with a whopping THIRTY-SEVEN GIGS OF HARD DRIVE SPACE freed up! WOOT!

So now i just have to wonder... what are the down-sides of having a compressed drive? Am I gonna regret this later?
